The Malta Music Awards were first held in 1995 with the aim of giving a boost to the Maltese music scene. The organisers seek to reward the best of Maltese musical talent and encourage improvement in all aspects of music production during a spectacular performance showcase. Ever since its launch, this event has grown into the most awaited and followed national music event on the island, becoming the biggest local music event with more than 5000 people attending annually. The high standards achieved over the years bode well for the next edition, where another great show by Malta’s top artists is expected.

The organisers would like to thank the following companies for supporting the event: Coca-Cola, Vodafone, Springfield, Charles Grech and Co., Scratchers, Fexco, Women’ Secret, Square Concept, Jacap, Merisi Caffe, Orienta, 202 Jewellers, Toni & Guy, The Ministry for Education, Culture, Youth and Sport, and the MFCC.

Thanks to Nick Morales, Robert Carbonaro and Edric Micallef Figallo  for the updates!
