89.7 Bay launched the BMA 2009 on Tuesday the 10th of November at Paranga, St Georges Bay and as promised this took place on Saturday the 12th of December at the Bay Arena. This was the 6th Edition of the Awards with a line up of the best Maltese talent around. The Coca-Cola Malta Music Awards 2009 took place this night (5-6th December) at the MFCC Ta Qali. With 16 awards presented at this year’s Coca-Cola Malta Music Awards it also featured an appearance by Robin Gibb of the Bee Gees. The 36 semi-finalists for the next phase of the Malta Eurosong Contest 2010 have been announced, featuring a mix of popular singers and relative newcomers.
